can an arrange marriage ever be successful

While seemingly old-fashioned, arrange marriages are still common in many cultures today. Romeo and Juliet tells the story of how a young couple dealt with the issue. Lord Capulet, Juliet's father, is in charge of who she marries. When Paris, Juliet’s fiancé, asks to marry Juliet he says, "An she agrees, within her scope of choice/ Lies my consent and fair according voice” (1.2.18-20).
 Similar to some teens today, Juliet suffered the effects of an arranged marriage, because she wouldn't obey his father's wishes. In some cultures, arranged marriages are the way of life. In my culture, many people have had their marriages arranged by thier parents. For example; my parents had an arranged marriage.
 Scholars ask whether love and respect in marital life is greater in arranged marriages than love marriages. Many arranged marriages can end up being sad and unsuccessful as well.
